A WELL USED VETO STAMP!

Governor Hobbs vetoed 8 bills on May 22. Four were sponsored by Senator Kavanagh.

The veto on SB1001, the pronoun bill, was no surprise. veto letter The governor also vetoed SB1011- the effort to allow municipal elections to be partisan. veto letter; SB1025 - imposing new campaign sign rules on municipalities veto letter and SB1048 - changing campaign finance reporting thresholds veto letter.

The governor also vetoed the standpipe water bill sponsored by Rep. Griffin. She referred to HB2561, Rio Verde Foothills water bill, sponsored by Rep Kolodin in her exceptionally well written veto letter .
