LD3 Dems Service Event at The Joy Bus

The Joy Bus provides medically tailored meals and compassionate social support to neighbors facing cancer across the Valley. Meals offer essential nourishment when appetite, energy, and daily routines are disrupted and our human connection reminds people they’re held by their community, especially on the hard days.

LD3 Dems invites you to be a part of a special community service experience. It will begin with a tour and introduction to The Joy Bus, including Insight into the Food Is Medicine movement and its role in cancer care, followed by decorating upcoming meal delivery bags and creating handwritten cards to be included in the following week's deliveries.

These messages and designs travel directly to households facing cancer, adding a moment of brightness and human connection with each meal.
