#VoteWithUs
This is not a normal moment in American history. We have had political disagreements before, and we will again, but what we are living through now is something different. This is not the usual back and forth over taxes, regulations, spending, or the size of government. This is a time when the basic rules of our democracy, the Constitution, and the balance of powers that are supposed to protect all of us are being openly tested and disregarded. That should concern every American, no matter their party.
There will be plenty of time again for honest debate about policy. But first, we have to get through this. Right now, the priority has to be protecting democracy, restoring respect for the Constitution, and rejecting a style of politics that demands loyalty to one man over loyalty to the country.
We have seen example after example of Donald Trump disregarding the Constitution and the limits it places on presidential power. We saw it in his effort to overturn the results of a free and fair election and remain in office after he lost. We have seen it in his repeated attacks on the independence of the courts, on the press, and on the idea that public officials swear an oath to the Constitution, not to him personally. Whatever your views on policy, that should be a line none of us are willing to cross.
And here in Arizona, we have our own problems to confront. For decades, our state has been controlled by compromised Republicans who too often seem more interested in doing the work of the Goldwater Institute, APS, corporations, and other lobbying organizations than in putting Arizona families first. Instead of practical solutions, we get ideological experiments. Instead of problem solving, we get political theater. Instead of leaders willing to work together, we get a legislature that too often serves special interests and extreme agendas.
On this page, you will find examples and sources that lay out why we believe voting for Democrats up and down the ballot in 2026 is the right thing to do. We hope you will take the time to look through them with an open mind. And if you do, we hope you will decide to #VoteWithUs.
We look forward to working beside you on important issues like our water future... once we have a legislature in place that is actually willing to work together. Thank you for being here.
1
Arizona Corporation Commission
We are starting with the Corporation Commission, because nowhere is there a decision-making body that has been more obvious in disregard for Arizona voters. What the corporation commission does; made up of five Republicans. Examples: - Court settlement fee - Rate hikes - Past election lobbying/contributions - one Dem voted against rate hikes. - refusal to look at cheaper/greener options
2
Arizona Governor
The Arizona Governor checks the power of the legislature. Current Governor Katie Hobbs is famous for her veto pen, but let's take a deeper dive into some of the bills that have come across her desk and why she was right to veto them. - Examples with sources - Former Governor Doug Ducey; ESAs; voters said no - he said yes

The Case for Voting for Democrats
No matter how you feel about the battle between Republicans and Democrats on a national level, we hope we have convinced you that politics in Arizona requires separate consideration. Please #VoteWithUs in 2026. Let's refuse to buy into the division any longer and work together for a stronger Arizona. - Bills that weren't heard - Claiming Arizona's solar future - Protecting our water - Investing in our public schools - Protecting the desert
