TRUMP 2028? NOPE! EPSTEIN EPSTEIN EPSTEIN.

A couple of weeks ago, I wrote about the 25th Amendment and the mental fitness of our cosplay president. In the past few days, he and his minions have been dangling yet another shining bauble to divert the country’s attention from EPSTEIN, EPSTEIN, EPSTEIN. That is, TRUMP 2028. It will either make you chuckle, scream into the abyss, or just crawl under the covers until 2032.

On Thursday, the hobo Steve Bannon said this, "Trump is going to be president in ’28, and people just ought to get accommodated with that,” suggesting “there are many different alternatives” for his former boss to serve three presidential terms. Well, no there aren’t, at least not Constitutionally. When Bannon says that Trump is “an instrument of divine will,” he sounds as crazy as Trump, echoing Trump’s own declaration that he “was saved by God to make America great again” when a would be assassin missed by just a quarter of an inch. In October, Trump told a group of Christians in Concord, NC that he “would like to think that God saved me for a purpose, . . . And that’s to make our country greater than ever before.” Sigh.

First, Bannon’s theory rests on the unlikely assumption that nature itself won’t take its course over the next three years, healing the country of the disease that is Trump, much like the human body often does when it’s attacked by a hideous parasite. Most men his age, already in precarious health both mentally and physically (and that’s only based on the health issues that we’re aware of, much less what’s actually going on with his health), usually don’t usually register for the Boston marathon three years down the road. If they make it that long, they may hope to be a spectator but certainly not a participant.

Second, as I explained the 22nd Amendment in my first piece as a Newsletter contributor in April, neither the Constitution nor any workaround conceived by an evil cabal of treasonists can put Trump back in the White House in 2028.

In the end, “TRUMP 2028", already emblazoned on red hats and t-shirts and all other manner of crap is just more merch marketing to squeeze the very last dimes from the pockets of his delusional supporters. As for myself, there’s way too much crap spewing from the firehose nozzle of craziness to lose any sleep about a third Trump term. I’ve got my eye on the prize - EPSTEIN EPSTEIN EPSTEIN!
